Water World Yerevan
Water World Yerevan, known locally as Jrashkharh, is an outdoor water park on Myasnikyan Avenue in the north-eastern part of the city. It has swimming pools, water slides, a separate children’s area, sun loungers and food outlets.
The outdoor water park operates during the warmer months and is particularly popular with families in July and August. It is located between Yerevan Zoo and the Yerevan Botanical Garden.

Who Is Water World Suitable For?
Water World is primarily a family attraction, but it also suits groups of friends and anyone looking for relief from Yerevan’s summer heat.
Young children have a separate shallow pool and smaller attractions. Older children and adults can use the larger pools and water slides, while visitors who prefer a quieter day can relax on sun loungers or spend time in the food and leisure areas.
The park can become busy and noisy during summer weekends. Travellers looking for a quiet pool experience may prefer a weekday visit.
Water World Yerevan Tickets and Opening Hours
The outdoor park usually operates from June until September, although the opening and closing dates depend on the weather. Regular opening hours are generally from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Ticket prices change during the season, and Water World regularly announces weekday offers and temporary packages. Recent prices and promotions generally fall within approximately 7,000–12,000 AMD per visitor, depending on the day and the type of offer.
Children up to 90 cm tall can usually enter free of charge. Lockers, inflatable tubes, food, private areas and some additional services may be charged separately.

Pools and Water Slides
The outdoor complex includes large swimming pools, a separate children’s pool and several pools connected to water slides. The slides vary in speed and difficulty, with options for both families and visitors looking for more active entertainment.
Queues can form during hot weekends, especially around midday. Arriving close to opening time usually provides more time to use the slides before the busiest part of the day.
Children’s Area
Younger children have access to a shallow pool and smaller water attractions. Parents should remain nearby even when lifeguards are present.
Children should wear suitable swimming clothes and use water shoes where necessary, as paved surfaces can become hot in direct sunlight.
Food and Additional Services
Water World has cafés and food outlets serving drinks, snacks and hot meals. Sun loungers, changing facilities and lockers are available, although some services may require an additional payment.
Visitors should check what is included in the entrance ticket before paying for optional services or private areas.
Aquatek — The Indoor Alternative
Aquatek is a separate indoor water complex located on the same site. It operates throughout the year and includes indoor pools, children’s facilities, water attractions and wellness services.
Aquatek has its own opening hours, prices and admission conditions. During winter or bad weather, confirm that you are booking Aquatek rather than the seasonal outdoor Water World park.
Best Time to Visit Water World
July and August are the most popular months because daytime temperatures in Yerevan can become very high. However, this is also when the park receives the largest number of visitors.
For fewer queues, choose a weekday and arrive near opening time. Weekends are usually busiest from midday until late afternoon.
June and early September may be quieter, but the weather and water temperature can be less predictable. Check that the outdoor park is operating before travelling at the beginning or end of the season.

For a comfortable day at Water World, bring:

How to Get to Water World Yerevan
Water World is located at 40 Myasnikyan Avenue, in the north-eastern part of Yerevan.
By taxi. Enter “Water World Yerevan” or “40 Myasnikyan Avenue” into your taxi application. The journey from the city centre usually takes around 15–20 minutes, depending on traffic.
By public transport. City buses run along Myasnikyan Avenue. Route numbers can change, so check the current route and nearest stop in a transport application or online map.
By car. Parking is available in the area, although spaces may be limited during busy summer weekends.
What to See Near Water World
Several family attractions and green areas are located nearby:
- Yerevan Botanical Garden — a large green area with plant collections and a greenhouse;
- Yerevan Zoo — more than 160 animal species on a large hillside territory;
- Victory Park — the Mother Armenia monument, city views, a lake and amusement rides.

Water World in a Yerevan Itinerary
Water World is not usually included in a standard Yerevan city tour, as it requires at least half a day and is located outside the historic centre.
If you plan to combine the water park with the zoo, Botanical Garden or other locations, a car with a driver in Yerevan allows you to agree on the route, waiting time and return pickup in advance.
