At the border, passengers go through checks separately from the vehicle and need to take their luggage with them for inspection. The driver crosses in the same vehicle and meets you on the Georgian side. The journey usually takes around 5–6 hours, but border queues, stops and road conditions may increase the travel time.
You can also book a direct transfer from Zvartnots International Airport to Tbilisi from 80,000 AMD per vehicle. Your driver will meet you with a name sign after arrival and help with your luggage. Transfers from Tbilisi to Yerevan or Zvartnots Airport are also available; the price and pickup time are agreed in advance.
